What also emerges from this series is the contrast between the spontaneity of aqueous elements – diffused traces, uncontrolled drips, expanding chromatic layers – and the more controlled intervention of graphic gestures, sometimes clean-cut, almost calligraphic.
These lines, signs and structures come into dialogue with organic chaos, as an attempt to retain and structure the ephemeral.
